Comment moderation

I have no choice but to enable comment moderation for my blog. I guess, a commentator, a resident of Prima who seemed to hate the card access security system and me so much that he has to resort to character assasination. He went to the extreme of cursing me with the chinese words " sung chung " and said something bad about my wife and cursing my family. He offended the women too. He did not realise that his mother was the woman who gave birth to him and raised him up to be a beast and an extremist. Perhaps, he treated his own mother as a birth giving machine without any feelings and emotions for others. He was making baseless accusation without contributing any suggestions to improve the security system. Carrying the card was a torture to him. He was so lazy to touch the card on the reader pad. He was so naive to think that you can get rich by being involved with Residents Association. I really wish to teach him how , should I have the opportunity to meet him. For his info, I wish to inform him that I am in the process of acquiring my fourth property developed by UOA which is worth about RM260 000. I wish to enlighten him how I managed to purchase the property. To start with, I received a 20% kickback from the installation of the cards access security system. It means that I received RM60 000. Another 20% from resurfacing the road. It means another RM20 000. Another 20% from the installation of the water filter. It means another RM 10 000. Using my influence and power as the vice chairman of the R.A. to replace the UOA guards, I received another 20%. It means another RM50 000. I received a monthly allowance from the management. Another RM10 000 monthly. I received a further 30% discount from the purchase my fourth property for not making any complaints against Dats Management Sdn Bhd. Buy the story? Buy the story?? Buy the story??? I wish to form a joint venture company with this guy to make some more money through the Residents Association. I wish to make him so rich so that he is able to acquire more properties than I. Please give me a call if you are interested, whoever you are or whatever you are.

I guess, this guy is also a follower and a great admirer of this great lady by the name of Margaret ( famous around this area ) who created a big commotion by parking her car right in the middle of the guardhouse quite sometime ago. She was also the only lady whom a legal action was taken against her for being the only owner to put up a grill for her balcony. If you are associated with this lady, you must be a sick guy who shares the same thoughts, attitude and interests as she. You cannot even have a decent conversation with her. You are looking at the devil who is breeding little devils at Prima. I really wish to find out whether this particular commentator is like her. I really would like to meet this guy and suggest to him to switch over to Raja Petra ( the owner of Malaysia Today website ) should he wishes to continue with his vulgarity and irrational comments.

What have I done to warrant such venomous comments? Does the card access cause them so many miseries that their daily lives are affected? Does the card cause them so many inconveniences that they cannot move about freely? I understand that some tuition teachers are affected but our homes are not tuition centres. If you wish to comment, by all means please do so but be constructive. You can post a negative comment about the card access but you don't have to get personal about it. If you find any evidence of corruption, by all means do not hesitate to make a report to ACA . Even, if there is a slightest hint of corruption , do make a report too. Don't just make groundless assumptions or easily swallow any stories fed to you. I do not wish to harbour any ill feeling towards anybody. I do not have any ulterior motive when I make comments about Prima. I am neither carrying out a campaign for a comeback but some narrow minded people seemed to think so. My comments are based on what I know about Prima. My relationship with the chairman is excellent. I do call him and brief him on what I know about Prima. As a matter of fact, we were at the guardhouse together observing what the new guards were doing.

He is a pensioner. He is 58 years old. This is his first day at Prima.
He is the chief for the night shift.

Inland security guards

The deputy minister , Encik Johari Baharum mentioned in a newspaper report that the security companies can only hire foreign guards who are from Nepal. According to him these guards are known for their bravery, discipline and loyalty. I presumed that he did not go down to the ground to find out what these nepalese guards are really like. I am very sure he was not aware that there are two classes of nepalese guards. One is the gurkhas and the other is the imitation gurkhas. The real gurkhas are ex-soldiers. They went through a lot of hardship to become soldiers. They are the no nonsense type. They cannot be intimidated by anyone. Rules are rules to them. If the guards that we are having here are gurkhas, we are in safe hands. Desa Parkcity is looked after by the gurkhas. But unfortunately, the nepalese guards that we are having here are definitely the imitation gurkhas. They are not alert, do not know how to enforce the rules, ignorant, shy and worst of all , they are not able to communicate with the residents. If the company is serious in providing security services to Prima, they should not have appointed the above old man to be the chief for the night shift. I spoke to him. He didn't seem to know anything about Prima.

The chairman gave me a call. I told him about the situation we are in. According to the notice, they were supposed to replace the UOA guards with professional guards. If these guards are professional, they should be able to stand on their own. They should know their scope of work. They should come out proper procedures for the visitors. Instead, they have to be guided by the UOA senior security guards. I, myself have to tell them what they have to do. Are we paying them to be educated at Prima? The chairman suggested to me to carry out a signature campaign which the previous committee carried out once to stop the management from replacing the UOA guards. I proposed that we hold a committee to deliberate on the matter before we decide on the next course of action. We do not wish to be taken for a ride. We don't even know how much we are paying for these so called professional guards.

Goodnight and have a nice day!

The nepalnese guards

I just don't understand why some securty companies like to engage nepalnese guards. Are they really good? They may be good as soldiers. They may be good when they are at war.The gurkhas have given them a good reputation but then gurkhas are soldiers and they are not security guards. They come from a country where there are hardly any condos around. They may not have seen a condo before. They may have culture shock when they see no reason why we need to have rules and regulations at the place we live. This is what is happening to Prima right now. The foreign guards at Prima look like they have been just plucked out of the valleys and the mountains.

I had a very bad encounter with one of them. I was at level three. I saw some boys whom I suspect to be outsiders playing basketball so I asked the new guard whether these boys registered themselves or not. I showed him my card access and asked him whether they possess one. He was blinking at me not knowing what I wanted him to do. I gave up. Another was caught napping at 4.00 in the morning and this is only the second day he is on duty.

Only foreign guards are working tonight. The problem that you may encounter is you may have problem getting your message across if you wish to complain about your noisy neighbour after midnight. If you someone park his car at your parking lot, you may have problem complaining to the guard. If your house is broken into, it will be a nightmare for you. I am sure these guys will not know how to handle the situation. In another scenario, if there is a fire, will they be able to handle the fire fighting equipments. The UOA guards do carry out fire drill from time to time. . The card access system and the CCTV are alien to them . I was at the guardhouse observing the them on duty. They just pressed the button to allow three cars without access cards to come in. All you have to do is to press the horn and the guard will press the button. These guards need someone to guide them The cannot stand on their own. The ratio should be 1:1 , one nepalnese and one local. Right now, there are eight nepalnese and two locals. I am really concerned. I guess I need to have a talk with my chairman before the situation deteriorates further.

Goodnight and have a nice day!

Inland Security Company

This is the name of the security company appointed to provide security services for Prima. I went to the guard house to take a look how things are doing. The senior guards are still around. I spoke to Mr Tee, the chief of security for UOA. I was told that the newly appointed company will take over the operation completely once the new guards have acquainted themselves with the procedures adopted by the UOA guards. I told him that the guards' present are not felt . We actually need more guards. Every block should have a guard stationed at the ground floor to monitor the card access security system and the visitors. I also told him that visitors who come in by cars should come out of their cars too register themselves at the guard house. They should not be given special privileges to register themselves while sitting in their cars. No condos would adopt the procedure practised by Prima.

I shall elaborate a little on the Inland Security guards. There are ten of them altogether. Eight of them are nepalnese and the other two are locals. Mr Tee assured me that they have a smattering of the Malay language. I told Mr Tee that how can they enforce the rules if they cannot communicate with the residents. I had a bad experience with the present batch of foreign guards at Prima. Their uniforms are similar to those our neignbour, the Sri Pelangi guards. Hopefully, the services rendered are not similar. I do not wish to pre-judge them but from my experience dealing with security companies, I am not very optimistic. These foreign guards are not cheap. They cost very much more than the local guards. I really wish that things turn out to be alright.

I carried out a little survey on the new guards. I spoke to a few too. Some of these guards were fresh from Nepal. They seemed to be lost when I spoke to them. There was this new guard at level three. He was just sitting there watching the world go by. This is the second day he is on duty. I told the old guard to tell him that he needed to move around to see that no residents were breaking any rules. Hopefully, he knows what the rules are. He was just too inexperience. I know that he is hardly the type to be proactive. It looks like we are throwing our money into the drain. To sum it up, we do not expect to get better services from these new guards. I really regret that the UOA guards are leaving. I am going to miss them and the colour of their uniforms. We cannot claim that the difference between Prima and other condos around this area is the security services. We are in the same boat now.

Goodnight and have a nice day!
