
The "Nah TOK"
Does anyone have any news on the 'nah tok'? I don't. I guess the JMC is still deliberating on the matter. They must make a decision and keep the residents informed on the matter. Has anyone written to the management to object? I don't know either. If I want to , I can always get the answer from Gary. I do not wish to be perceived as interfering with the work of the JMC. I do not wish to give them the excuse to say that the ex-chairman was the reason why the "nah tok' failed to be built. I've stated my stand very clearly in my blog.
Is the JMC still functioning? I hardly see any of the committee members walking around the condo to find out what is happening. If you don't go down to the ground, you really don't know what is happening. You are unable to make any complaints to the management to make things right. As a committee member, you must show your commitment. You have been entrusted by the owners to bring improvements to the condo. I think the problem here is the committee members are afraid to make decisions especially when their decisions involve the utilization of our fund. They are afraid they may end up like me when I, alone had to take the blame for the implementation of the card access security system although my proposal was for the good of all the residents. That was already history.
I guess , our condo may remain the same for the next ten years. The lifts will still be running. Our financial situation will be very strong with surpluses running into millions. It's good to have a lot of money but at the same time we may like to see some upgrading jobs done to improve the image of our condo. I don't know what is happening to the account. I have yet to see the monthly income and expenditure account on the notice board. Hopefully, the JMC can keep the owners informed pertaining to the account . I am sure you and I are concerned. We want to know how our money has been spent.

Good news, I found out that the developer already renew the lease of our master title to 99 years. Our new Title is PN (WP) 41719, Lot No 28263, Mukim Setapak, Daerah of Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Wilayah Persekutuan, The expired of title lease is 29 Jun 2107. Thank to developer again for their good job.
So, we are able to maintain the value of our properties. getting a refinancing from the banks will not be a hassle anymore. Any news on the nahtok. hopefully, the JMC will take the decision to abandon the project. it does not bring any benefit to our condo anyway.
