These are pictures of the card access system that have been installed at Plaza Prima. I guess that if our proposal for the system is approved by the management , we shall be using the same system as shown in the pictures. The management has forwarded me a copy of the quoatation. The total cost for the card access system, cctv ( 19 cameras ) , glass panel ( tempered glass ground floor ( both sides ) and level 2) and the iron grill for the stair cases is about RM 200,000 which is well within our means. For your info, our sinking fund stands about RM 1 000,000 for now. We shall discuss the quoatation in our coming committee meeting. If the committee unanimously agreed with the quotation submitted, I shall then inform the management. The final decision still lies with the management for the simple reason that they are the paymaster.

Goodnight and have a nice day!

I think all "card owners" need to be educated that not to allow people whom they don't know to "follow" them passing the entrance.

Although we have the card access system at the lobby, i think we still need a guard to be placed at the lobby entrance to ensure no one could take advantage of other's access by following closely from behind. Sometimes, due to safety reason residents might choose to inform the guard when they reached home, however it could be too late as the suspect already passed the access card system.

Besides that, I would like to bring up an issue which happened to me last Saturday night. I'm actually renting a 2nd parking lot which is not far from the guard house. On Saturday evening, my 2nd parking lot was being occupied by a visitor. I think most of you would have this experience if you are also renting a 2nd parking. Of course, the next thing most of us would do is to make a report to the guard on duty. At that moment, I've no choice but to park at the dedicated visitor parking and walk all the way back to block b. About 2 hours later, a young chinese guy came to my unit and asked me whether he had parked the wrong parking. Without any doubt i replied yes. As I expected, he told me that his car was clamped. What surprised me was that he said the guard told him that the owner had paid the fined and he has to pay back the owner. What the hell is the guard trying to do??!! Are they not capable enough to collect the fined and need to give such damn stupid excused to force them to pay the fine??!!! What worried me is that the guard disclosed my unit number to that guy!! Otherwise, how the heck he got to press my door bell!!! You know what happened on Monday? My car was scratched badly. Damn.... my car was on the road less than a year. Who going to responsible for this? myself?? Come on.... this is 101 security rules which i would expect every single security personnel should know, NEVER DISCLOSED OWNER INFORMATION. If they think disclosing owner name/unit could pressure the visitor to pay their fine, mr. president, please stop this immediately by raising this matter to the chief security. This is totally not acceptable practice. Every single security personnel have to be informed or make known how serious the impact would be to disclosed owner's information to a stranger. In other words, instead of protecting the resident they are putting us in a dangerous position. In my case, thank god that 'he' only scratched my car as a revenge. Thing could be worst if 'he' choose to take action on my family. If we don't prevent this now, everyone here would be living in danger. I'll bring this issue to DATS management personally. However, I hope that mr. President could do something to stop this once and for all. Looking forward for president's action and reply.

During our meeting with the management, we had always emphasized to them that whatever complaints made by the residents should be treated as confidential. I am sorry that this unfortunate incident has upset you. I would definitely raise this matter with their chief of security.

To block b software engineer:

There are two different issues here. First, the guard definitely not allows disclosing your info. We should find out who is the guard and discipline action need to be taken against him. Since you already complaint to Dats, you should follow up what action has been taken against the guard. This is very important so that others guards learn and not to repeat the same mistake.

Second, your car getting scratched got noting to do with guard disclose your info. The guy will just look for the car which park at the place where his car being clamped. Let say the guy parked at lot # 10 and his car is being clamped. Next day he will just damage any car that park at lot # 10. Because he believe the car belong to owner of that lot whom complaint him yesterday. You got me ?

Not to allow others park at your parking is easy. Just install a metal bar at your parking lot. When you are away and your lot is empty, just stand the bar and lock it. Other people are not able to part there as blocked by the bar. When you come back, unlock the bar and lie it down, your car can go in smoothly. I saw this practice in Manara Alpha Condo. I believe you know what I am talking about. Mr.See, you can propose this to Dats.

Btw, I have few extra parkings at level 2 for rent. This is better than you park your car outside. Please email me at seagatemail@gmail.com if you are interested. I am not making advertisement here but to offer solution to those having parking problem. Mr.See, please do not cut this comment. :)
