All these low quality equipments should be sent to the junkyard.






Condition of the gymnasium

I wrote a letter to the management to complain about the deplorable condition of the gymn and to make a request for two table tennis tables sometime ago but I didn't get any respond at all until today. In my tele conversation with UOA's newly appointed property manager, I highlighted the matter to her. I was told to refax the letter to her which I did without any delay.

If you care to visit the gymn, you would find that the only equipments which are still working are the two treadmills and the multi-trainer. Very soon the treadmills would also break down due to heavy usage. These are the only equipements that serve the residents from 750 units of condo at Prima Setapak. Every morning, I can see many senior citizens waiting patiently to carry out their cardio-activities. I really symphatize with them. How pathetic our situation is.
I don't understand why it is so difficult to make a decision for Prima. Lack of fund is definitely not the factor. All they have to do is to utilize a small portion of the sinking fund. The two table tennis tables which we requested cost only about RM 1000 and five heavy duty training bikes may cost only about RM 10 000. But, our sinking fund stands at about RM 800 000. What went wrong? It must be the decision makers. It seems nobody wishes to commit himself to make a decision for Prima. At this point of time, how I wish our Management Corporation has already been established to enable us to make a decision for our own properties with our own money. We call Prima our homes but for others it is just a business venture.
I am still waiting patiently for the miracle to happen.
