The formation of the Joint Management Body

Our developer has come out with a notice on the formation of this Joint Management Body ( JMB ). I was told by the management that Kumpulan Sejahtera Sdn Bhd is inviting a lawyer to brief the purchasers on the above matter before they call for the first official meeting which is tentatively set on the 27th Feb 2008. I wonder who is paying for the lawyer's fee which may come to thousands. The management or the developer? If it's the management, then it is our money. I will not be surprise if they charge it to the management because we have no control over on how our money is spent.

This is the reason why all the purchasers must attend this very important briefing. The owners need to know who is in charge when the JMB is set up. If we understand why there is a need to set up the JMB, it will not give rise to any disputes, controversies, allegations and misunderstanding. I am of the opinion, the earlier we set up the JMB the better it is for us all. We shall be the master of our own properties. We control the management, we control the expenditure and we set the rules with our interests in mind.

Goodnight and have a nice day!

I had suggested this matter to the chairman. I shall leave to the chairman whether to call for a prelimanry meeting with the all the owners.

it's time (hopefully) the owners have the say and not taken for the ride by the suckers again ...

if the owners do not wish to take care for the betterment of our property, nobody would and i bet the developer would be laughing all the way to the bank looking at the 700+ foolish owners ...

btw, could you start a topic to discuss about the new management after the demise of DATS? ...

I had done an assessment of HOKAWAI and Associates. I shall present my views on the company after the formation of JMB.

Why was the comment being deleted. Was there anything that was unpleasant to MR SEE or the owner of Prima Setapak? Please, for goodness' sake, let them to judge themselves.I suppose, they're as clever as MR SEE.

None of the comments had been deleted. I was also surprised the comment on 20 January, 2008 17:28 was deleted. I don't delete any comments unless it is vulgar and there are elements of character assasination. I wish to request the author of this comment to post it again if it's possible.

i saw a notice calling for a meeting on the 27 Jan 08 1030hrs. and later in the day on 27/1 i saw a small notice being put by someone saying that if only chinese language was being used, no need to put a notice calling for a meeting. I faced the samething during the last meeting, the chairman was speaking in chinese and later being transalated. what a shame, 50 years of indepandence..calling yourself(the chairman) a malaysian but couldn't speak B.Malaysia or English. Well i shall give him another chance..if he still speaks in chinese first, I'll just lodge a complaint to the relevant department about the matter and get the resident asso..given stern warning....or please tell the chairman to step down...

I think language is quite a sensitive issue. I remembered when I spoke in English, the chinese speaking crowd did not like it at all. I feel that any language used should be able to reach the audience. In this aspect, I had already failed.

i understand you mr.see. not your fault. So what was discussed in the meeting on the 27/1. But anyway I'll wait till the meeting on the 16/2. So did you see the small piece being put on the notice board the other day. It means a lot. I know language is sensitive, but pls put a word to the "chairman"...so that he can get the msg. I know someothers attended the meeting the other day felt un-easy about the situation...lets see how it goes on the 16/2.....

I did not see any small notice being put up on the notice board. Anyway, if it's in chinese, I would not be able to understand. I did not attend the current meeting and I did not know what issues were raised. I told the chairman that I would be out of town and I told him to go ahead with the meeting.
I sincerely hope that there would be no groupings at Prima. No matter what language is used, we have to stand united in order for our properties to be well managed failing which outsiders may take over. As for myself, I merely wish to contribute but not to lead anymore.
