

A real surprise
Now you see it , now you don't. This is a real surprise to me. The pictures above were taken a few days ago. The broken bicycles which I mentioned in my letter to Dats Management had been replaced with some new ones. The new equipments above are the heavy duty type which are more durable and should be more expensive. In a high density condo like ours, more equipments should be needed. The water in the swimming pool is back to normal again. Hopefully, things will remain like that for a long time to come. If I have my way, there are so many improvements which I can bring to Prima. But unfortunately, I can only propose and complain.
I had put up a notice on the notice board to inform the residents that the company appointed by Dats Management had started work on the installation of the card access and the CCTV. According to Mr Yeo, a security manager from the company, the whole project will be completed in one and the half months. Everything should be in place by April . I shall also put up the quotations submitted by two shortlisted companies which tender for the job.

can you elaborate on the actual problem why the swimming-pool was turned to greenish-pool at the first place? not intend to find fault but merely to understand the root of the problem so that everyone understand and to ensure the same problem will not occur again ...
btw, since only the president can post an article, i would like to highlight a problem with "ASTRO" ... anyone facing the problem i'm facing now (since sunday, feb-11-2007) whereby only certain limited channel is available despite my subscription to more than the current channels?
i've called and wrote to astro - according to astro it's in the measat-3 channel migration now ... but apparently the current problem was being forwarded by astro to the shoulder of DATS management ... astro blames on the wiring and centralized reception etc etc - which i doubt so since it was working fine for the last 3 years ...
when i called DATS, the statement was the DATS is working with astro contractor to rectify the problem ... but when will the problem solved? NO IDEA ... Just Wait ...
appreciate if the president could take a look at this matter as i believe some locals who stays back during CNY will need astro the their only companion ...

The greenish water was actually caused by dirty filters for the pool. The problem was rectified by replacing the content in the filters which is a special type of sand.
As for the problems faced by some astro subscribers, I was told that the management and the astro contractor are looking into the matter. Most likely the problem has something to do with the migration to measat 3 but it's quite strange I do not have this problem.
On the day I read abt many complaints highlighted by star readers on Astro reception , I thgt I'm the luck one not knowing I faced the same problems from that day itself !
But I just back from holiday , not too sure is the problem rectified ?!
