Update on the card access and Prima

I am back again after taking a long break. Actually, I wished to write very much earlier but I was unable to access the site due to the breakdown of internet lines to the outside world. The lines are still not back to normal yet.

Let's talk about Prima. I am sure the residents are eager to know what's the latest on Prima. They may be thinking I am no longer concerned over Prima. I still do and am still passionate about it. Prima is my home. I have a strong sense of belonging to it. My only regrets is that I don't have that kind of authority to make decisions for Prima. As I had mentioned im my previous blogs, the committee can only propose and complain. We just have to wait for the new Act to be implemented, maybe a year from now.

Things are not going that well at the moment. The water in the swimming pool is filthy. I was told that they need to repair the filter. They are in the process of sourcing the quotation. The gym is in the shameful and pathetic condition. Only a treadmill is working and they have the chick to call it a gymnasium. I had made countless number of complaints and the the answer is always the same. We are looking into the matter. I guess, Prima is not getting the necessary attention. The management just does not pay attention to the details. Things like dirty walls at the lift lobbies, pieces of paper on the road , scratches in the lifts and faulty fittings which are not replaced have been ignored. These are the things that give us the perception that our premises are not managed professionally. I cannot accept that our condos are in this condition. I am the type of person who pays attention to the details. I want things to be in the perfect conditions, as good as new. We deserve it because we are paying for it.

As for the card access, I was officially told that a company has been selected to carry out the project. They are just waiting for the contract to be signed. Most likely, it would be after the Chinese New Year. This is the first upgrading job for Prima. Hopefully, it would be implemented smoothly.
