Pets in the house.
Base on the deeds of covenant that we sign with the developer, one of the clauses states that we are not allowed to keep any pets in the house. Your pets can become a nuisance to your neighbours. The sound of barking can keep us awake all night. I guess we have to be sensitive to our neighbours in order to maintain the harmonious atmosphere in our condo. You can inform the security if you think you are affected by residents who are keeping pets in their houses. You can rest assured that all complaints are confidential.
Have a nice day!

the maintenance staff are ridiculous!!!
once they accused us of throwing rubbish from our apartment because of a ridiculous complain from one of the stupid resident!!!
how can the maintenance staff accuse us without any evidence!
i'm the victim myself... the residents above us always throw cigarettes from their room and it accidently drop into MY ROOM. MY ROOM have been receiving all kind of rubbish and we never fucking give a complain. I once even saw an old lady throwing rubbish to the third floor and i just keep quiet because as students, there's nothing much we can do!!!
I just wander why the residents in Prima Setapak like to blaming all the bad things to the TAR students. This is not fair to them. I think the residents should think and think twice is this thing is really done by the TAR students or the residents themself.
We should be lucky and thankfull to the TAR students because they are renting our condo. What if our condo is rented by the Indonessian and Bangradesh people, I think the situation will be even worse.
If no TAR students, to some people as a invester, they just don't care who is renting their condo, as long as they receive the rental every month.
I think without TAR students around, our condo's market value would not be gone up so much and the place would not be "Ong".
hello anonymous,
i feel sorry that you've the perception that you, as a TAR student has been singled out as the culprit ...
it's true there're no 100% good owners and there're no 100% good students as well ... good here means civilized human who behaves like a truly human ...
it's a matter which group is majority ... and (in my humble opinion) unfortunately if both groups are being compared, the students form the majority who mis-behave ... now, now, before you open your mouth and use that f**k word again, let me justify my opinion (again, this is my personal opinion, my apology in advance if i'm wrong) ...
i'm not sure how long have you been renting this place, but 2-3 years ago, the first batch of TAR students (specially block-c) were behaving in such a barbarian manner to the extend that police have to be called to "control" the situation ... can you imagine this ? TAR students, the young bloods of the new generation, the same young people who are being fed with high education requires "law-and-order" to bring down their un-civilized behaviour because a group of them created havoc by letting off fireworks, screaming hysterically in the late night ... they even dare to challenge (multiple times) the security guards who tried to calm them ...
and guess what, our condo became so famous that china-press printed out the incidents ... so you expect us to thank the students ??
well, every property bounce to have some investors who buy property to rent it out ... but the students wanted to rent this place b'cos of certain reasons as well, it's strategic located, food are no problems, the neighborhood are good (would you rent this area if most of us are loan-sharks, gangsters, bangla ?) ... so it's a win-win situation (symbiosys relationship so to speak) ... pls don't come to the conclusion that we need you more than you need us ... it's a balance situation ...
if you still don't understand, imagine this ... after you graduated, you might land yourself a job, start saving, buy a car (if you still don't have one), buy a home (landed or condo) and plan to get married ... let's assume you happen to buy a condo, how would you feel if the above incident happen to you ? so you see, it's a cycle ...
what i'm trying to say is the mis-behaviour by a small group of TAR students (should i term them bad apple ?) have tarnished the image of TAR-students ... so these will be the same people who will get the blame when something bad happen ... wonder why people who's committed criminal to get the suspicious look/accusation by police when the same thing happen again ?? it's the human aspect ...
but i strongly believe most of the students here are genuine people who just want to enjoy their stay here while having a good environment to study ... i'm glad that the students at my floor are very well-behaves ... some of them even continue their stay here after graduated and found a job ...
about cigarette buts, hey it happen to me as well ... by those working tenants up above my unit ... so there're bad owners as well ...
as a conclusion, i sincerely hope that the bad owners can change their bad habit (if they have) ... as for students, pls advise your house-mate / room-mate to behave whenever they started to rebel, will you ?
only with mutual understanding can we live in harmony ...
my sincere apology if my opinion offended anyone ...
regards
fred
yeah, i agree on both fred and anonymous. there are merits and demerits of both the TARc students and the owners. however i would like to highlight one particular thing about the maintenance staff. they should listen to the student's plight. i do notice the improvement over the years. 3 years ago, the so called TARcian(TARc students) behaved like barbarians. but for the last 2 years, they are more well-behaved, unlike recent years. the maintenance staff should do their job well. they are slow in maintenance work and they are especially rude against the students. i do hope that things will improve in the fourth year as new batch of students are moving in...
